Everybody has their own reasons for why they decided to dive into the Sugar Bowl. For most of us, its because of the luxurious and lavish lifestyle. I decided to join the Sugar Bowl in my junior year of college. I was 20 years old and I felt like I wasn’t living life. I dated a variety of older men; black, white, tall, short. My life started to change. Also, let me tell you that sugaring while in college isn’t easy. This is a story of how my Sugar lifestyle got exposed, by my parents(ha-ha).

The reason why I’m writing this post is because I want all my sugar sisters out there to take precaution while hustling. I hope you girls will be extra careful with this secret lifestyle, unless you’re open about it. I got caught by my parents and I’m about to go in details how it happened.

My grades started to decline

Well, any sugar baby should know better how it feels when you are supported financially. You feel safe and worry free. That’s exactly how I felt and I kept telling myself ‘Ah, do I really need this degree? I’ll be rich anyway since my Sugar Daddy pays for everything’. Since then, I started to slack off in college and my grades started to drop. I did terrible in my exams. I saw more Fs’ than As’ in my report card. Eventually, my parents raised suspicion of my sudden poor performance.

I bragged about it

When I started sugaring, I got consumed with the excitement that comes with being a Sugar Baby. So I started out with telling only my BFF. Then, naturally I started to tell acquaintances, like I’m proud of it. Eventually, I felt comfortable enough to tell almost everyone who was interested to listen. Well, you know how the story goes. The words spread like wildfire when people start to talk.

My parents went through my phone

This is what really got me into trouble. My friends soon started to wonder how I was able to afford designer bags and new clothes. I would text them all the details about my lifestyle. Which was really a wrong move. I didn’t think through it. My parents went through my phone (which they have the right to do since they pay for my phone bill) and read all my texts with all the juicy details! It would be something stupid like “Going on a date with a 60 year old today, I’ll get him to buy me a new phone ;)”

My parents were appalled. They wanted to know what the hell was going on.

So, what now?

I’m currently in the process of gaining my parents’ trust back I am definitely not leave the bowl. It wasn’t easy for my parents to digest, but at the end of the day, they still love me and respect me for my choices.

I chose the Sugar Life because I want an upgrade. If you’re happy and you’re bettering your life, your parents will eventually come around if they have reservations. Happy Sugaring babies!
